12 month Contract Senior Systems Engineer – Edmonton
Skills necessary - 5+ years administering Windows-based web applications using IIS and SQL server
- 10+ years Windows administration including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Public Key Infrastructure
- Expert troubleshooting skills with Ethereal, IIS logs, Event logs, Perfmon, SQL Profiler (desired)
- Experience programming in .NET framework (C#, VB.NET) desired
- Experience with multicast networking infrastructures desired
- Understanding of Best Practices in IT Operations and Service Provider Operations to deliver carrier class lifecycle management
- Ability to work directly with customers - professionalism, responsiveness, service orientation
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Ability to translate customer pain points into solutions
Education Background - MCSE, MCDBA, CCNA preferred
- Degree in computer science or EE engineering preferred
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
