The Function Focused on the dynamic Alberta market, this role will encompass business development, financial, technical and strategic planning for the Site Management Market Segment through client service and project management, for the Environmental Services Business Group (ESBG), Canada. Building on current levels of success and growth in our Site Management, Waste Management and other Company Business Group initiatives in Alberta, you will lead the Alberta Site Management team to identify and deliver projects utilizing the resources in Canada and North America. Your success will be attributed to maintaining and generating new clients, revenue and project opportunities. This role will identify, review and position new and enhanced Site Management business opportunities within Alberta, and where new business opportunities are identified, work with the team to investigate and determine viability for investment. Building on the current level of project success and engage all parts of the Canadian operation into a high-performing regionally focused group. This will be done in such a manner that it builds on the synergies with the other Business Groups and offices, enhanced by the fact that we do not operate our offices as profit centres. All activities of this position must strongly support an integrated, total solution approach to the needs of Company clients, taking advantage of the expertise in both the Canadian Region and the other parts of the Company. This position will champion the building of relationships, both external and internal, to advance the business and bring in and successfully deliver significant, profitable, and challenging work. They will ensure an increasing regional competitiveness and market share through the development and procurement of regional and strategic projects. This position will lead and develop assigned and matrixed staff and will work with others to optimize staff client utilization and deployment. Further they will support the advancement and effective utilization of the latest technologies within the Business Group. The Individual § Professional Engineer or equivalent with a minimum of 20 years progressively responsible environmental consulting experience and a recognized leader in the Alberta Site Management marketplace.§ A P.Eng or eligible for professional registration, you possess demonstrated expertise in managing and executing projects, partnered with exceptional business development experience within the site management, and remediation environment.§ Strong project planning and organizational skills are complimented by a proven team management track record.§ Track record of exceptional Client Service Management.§ Proven success with business development strategy implementation and procurements.§ Project planning and controls.§ Market Sector leadership and strong team management.§ Change, risk and financial management.§ Decision making.
